Here I sit at my laptop in my happy space on Day 10 of a 22 Day project of Giving. We have had a full day of Saturday activities and are nearing the end of the day of a very long, emotional week. Hubby is en route from his week-long overseas business trip and the Ladies are headed over this evening for a much-needed Book Club/ Get-together (take that Bob Dee!). I have had to manage the children, work, the Nor’easter and everything in between and I can honestly say without ANY guilt, today I am thankful for the TV.
Absolutely and seriously, the TV and 24/7 cartoons is what makes me smile today. The kids could sense my weakness and even went so far as to convince me to allow them to eat in front of the tv! Despite my concerted effort to limit TV time, I am caving and praying the parental controls on our system will guide them along.
Watch away my children – Mama needs a break.
p.s. …..Fairy OddParents – hysterical 🙂
