A Gift from Mother Nature

Putting aside discussions of global warming – waking up today to a shining sun and mild clean air, I couldn’t help but feel today is a sincere gift from Mother Nature for some not so pleasant weather events from the past nine months or so.

Forecasters are calling for temperatures to rise to an unseasonably warm 60 degrees. Astonishing considering this is Jersey and it’s January.  Running errands and moderating play dates will be pleasant if not invigorating.

But before the hustle and bustle of Saturday chaos begins,  I took my coffee and sat on the patio outside and enjoyed the still morning.  While I long for a close schools snow storm, I relish this gift from Mother Nature.
